Amy Bloom has filled several different positions that have required her to
have organizational, leadership, and creative skills. As Troubleshooter for
the 2006 Fullerton College HS Theatre Festival, she had to make sure that
everything was organized in order for the festival to run smoothly. She was
in charge of having info booklets for people so that the attendees were in
the right places at the right times, worked closely with campus and local
police providing assistance in the case of any emergencies, and had to solve
any problems that arose quickly and proficiently.
She also worked as an office/library assistant at an elementary school,
which helped her gain important organization skills including: filing books
and documents, as well as generating computer lists and graphs to more
efficiently organize the school.
She was chosen as head of the Fullerton College Theatre Arts Department
Ambassadors. This position required her to coordinate and advertise events
and workshops for the department. Lead and delegate different responsibilities to the other ambassadors and faculty involved, act as a
ceremonial position for special events, and organize the budget to keep the
group’s finances balanced.
Along with the above positions, Amy has also served on leadership boards for
many other organizations (yacht clubs, volunteer organizations, colleges,
etc.) and planned many social and humanitarian events (parties, regattas,
volunteer opportunities, etc). Most recently Amy has used her organizational skills to associate produce
productions for Renaissance Man Productions by acting as accountant, cast
liaison, fact checker and organizing upcoming production archives.
