Art, expression, perception, and style; these are the objects in life that Ian Lindl has chosen to push around and manipulate. As a self-taught video editor, taking on many video projects over the past three years, he has utilized programs such as: Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Photoshop. In turn he has produced weddings, commercials, short films, promotional videos, and documentaries. While mainly focusing on filming and editing, he is also learning sound and lighting in order to understand all areas of production.

"I originally wanted to name my production company "Vanity With Reason" due to:

A- My frustrations with the human condition.
B- The inherent value in movie making."

"Entering this line of work has been a frustrating process for me personally, but I am not able to stay away from it. There is too much waiting to come out. It is communication, and a rare, powerful ability to encapsulate metaphysical "happenings" that draw me to film."

Ian, currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin and is working as a sound mixer with Renaissance Man Productions feature films titled "Love American Style," and "Sociology of Me," a feature length documentary on the life of Cory Reeder.
